Installation

Installation is straightforward and uses the original hardware:

1. Remove the original painted metal tab from the battery cover system
2. Clean the mounting area thoroughly
3. (Optional) Apply medium strength threadlocker such as Blue Loctite to the mounting screw
4. Install the stainless steel tab using the original hardware
5. Test battery cover engagement and security
6. Verify proper fit before riding
