Description

The wind deflector for a Moto Guzzi V85TT motorcycle is a specially designed accessory that helps to reduce buffeting and turbulence for the rider while riding. The deflector is made of high-strength polyethylene terephthalate glycol infused with carbon fiber (PETG-CF) which is both durable and lightweight, ensuring that it doesn’t add any significant weight to the motorcycle mount points.

The deflector is designed to fit seamlessly onto the front of the motorcycle, just above the forks, whilst still allowing full lock-to-lock rotation of the handlebars. It features an aerodynamic shape that effectively redirects wind away from the rider’s upper body, thereby reducing wind noise and providing a quieter ride.

FAQ

Q: Does this prevent the steering from going full lock?

A: No, there are cutouts designed for the tops of the forks allowing full lock-to-lock steering with no interference

Q: There is a gap between the deflectors and the body, is this normal?

A: Yes, the material the deflectors contain chopped carbon fiber which makes the surface very abrasive, like sandpaper. This means a gap is required to prevent abrasive cosmetic damage to nearby plastic parts on the motorcycle.

Q: What exactly does the “height” specification refer to?

A: The height refers to the deflector’s clearance from the front fork and the adjustment knob on the fork, which will be raised if the bike is lowered. The height does not change the effectiveness of the product, and it does not change the mounting location on the motorcycle. Please refer to the photos above that illustrate the different sizes mounted to the bike next to a ruler.

Q: What about the quality differences between Grade A, B, and C deflectors?

A: 3D printing sometimes yields minor inconsistent results, producing products with cosmetic blemishes. We offer different quality grades to allow customers to purchase a discounted product if they are comfortable with visual blemishes, rather than discarding these items and sending them to a landfill. All grades function identically - the differences are purely cosmetic.

Warranty

This product comes with a 2 year warranty to replace any damaged parts, even if damage is accidental, at no charge. Shipping charges may apply to non-US customers.

Return Policy

We offer full refunds (for physical products only) if the product is returned within 90-days of placing the order, no questions asked. Contact us for details on this process prior to shipping any products back. We cannot issue refund return shipping costs if you have already paid for a label. There are no restocking fees or any other hidden fees associated with returns.
