The VelocityOne Flight is excellent flight simulation hardware with a great feature set. However, many users experience frustrating sticking and binding where the yoke shaft drags against the housing during movement. This is especially noticeable during precision maneuvers like landing flares, where smooth, predictable control inputs are critical.

The Solution

The StickFree Yoke Fix eliminates this issue by adding rolling bearing support around the yoke shaft. The bearings grip from all sides, centering the shaft and removing the metal-to-plastic friction that causes the binding sensation. The result is buttery-smooth yoke movement with precise, predictable response.

Installation

Installation takes approximately 5-10 minutes. The only tool required is a Phillips head screwdriver. Simply position the two halves around the yoke shaft where it emerges from the base, thread the screws, and tighten until the yoke moves smoothly without binding. No modifications to your VelocityOne are required.
